Memories of our extreme adventures

Exphera It was born from the desire to inspire couples of all ages with the unique emotions experienced during adventures, the same ones we discovered for twenty years in the mountains with our small group of DWOP friends.

Passionate about adventure and trekking, we spent our weekends dreaming up the best outdoor experiences to try firsthand. Cold, Fire, Water, Silence, and Intimacy were always the key ingredients.

We set out with loaded backpacks, tents, sleeping mats, and every possible piece of equipment to experience unforgettable nights: in the snow, in the woods, in the rain, in hail, bivouacs in the midst of blizzards...

Zero limits, total fun. The common thread and attraction has always been pristine nature with its starry sky.

From extreme to comfort: the birth of Exphera

Now that we are older and our bodies refuse to handle certain loads, we have recreated these magical adventures in a controlled environment, suitable even for the less adventurous.

Our spaces are all private and exclusive for a single couple in total intimacy with the surrounding nature.

After researching and evaluating what the market had to offer in this experiential sector, our philosophy was born, which can be summarized as: total privacy, private garden and facilities, chalets/additional rooms for total comfort.

Our presence at check-in and checkout, and on-site assistance for any need at any time, is a fundamental component of our philosophy.

No shared facilities, no common spaces, just a couple, nature, and the sky, surrounded by the comfort of a private spa to feel completely relaxed and at home.

Palazzago: Bergamo's small mountain

We chose the Palazzago hills because we love places that are always breezy and cool, like those found in the high mountains, with enviable views while still being close to Bergamo and Milan. This is where we've lived for almost thirty years.

Our first location was the Romantic January 2020: while the world was shutting down due to Covid, we were embarking on this new and exciting adventure.
As the months went by and with the first feedback we gradually added Wellness, Voyager, Sunrise e Cocoon, the transparent Bubble suspended in the trees, the first and only one in Italy.

Our idea: luxury while respecting nature

In choosing and managing materials, we searched throughout Europe to select natural ones that respect the environment and nature.

Le Bubble Room They are self-supporting, not air-inflated, to reduce artificial noise and enjoy the sounds of nature, recreating a healthy environment, without air conditioning or forced dry air, similar to that found in a tent in the mountains.

The saunas are made of FSC wood and treated with specific high-quality oils that do not release toxic substances.

Finding time for two

Our guests can thus rediscover a space/time free of distractions and TV, where conversation, relaxation, and intimacy as a couple once again take center stage in life as a couple.

Unlike other starlit experiences or unique accommodations, many guests return to us, precisely to rediscover those romantic moments that fade away in the routine of daily stress.

The starry sky is an attractive possibility, but the experience is unique and unforgettable in any weather, even rain and thunderstorms.

Our promise of quality and safety

We leave nothing to chance. To ensure a luxurious experience and complete safety, every Bubble Room and the additional rooms are cleaned with professional protocols before each arrival, we collaborate with excellent local suppliers for catering, managing intolerances and allergies with the utmost attention.
